Palworld - Summer Update

Pocketpair is working on adding PvP to Palworld via the Arena. However, in the meantime, it’s preparing a sizable Summer update. In a new trailer revealed during the ID@Xbox Showcase, the developer revealed the new island, Pals and weapons included in the update. Check it out below.

Four new Pals were spotted – a frog with a black belt, a turkey ostrich hybrid that unleashes Earth-based attacks, a silly dinosaur with a mushroom cap and a mystic that can float in the air. Players have new ways to fight them, like a flamethrower and a futuristic rifle. The new island also appears to be inspired by Japan, with sakura trees, Torii gates and a traditional shrine. However, you can also see plenty of oversized mushrooms.

Based on its track record, this trailer probably covers only a fraction of the update. Palworld’s Summer update doesn’t have an exact release date, so stay tuned for more details. As for the Arena update, which features 3v3 battles with other players’ Pals, it’s out later this year.
