Grinding Gear Games’ Path of Exile will get its next expansion and Challenge League, Affliction, on December 8th for PC. There will be a reveal stream on November 30th, 12:30 PM PST, followed by a live Q&A session with managing director Chris Wilson. However, Path of Exile 2 announcements are also on the docket, with a new teaser available.
The teaser showcases what seems to be a new Ascendancy, which many believe is the Mercenary. He can run and shoot, unleashing a stream of projectiles into enemies. It could be that a proper reveal is on the cards, with Path of Exile 2 director Mark Roberts providing additional details in the Q&A.
Path of Exile 2 is still a ways off from launch but will receive a closed beta for PC on June 7th, 2024. It includes the entire game (which is now a separate entry) and lasts as long as a League. Stay tuned for more details from next week’s livestream.
