Along with announcing Path of Exile 2, a brand new campaign with seven new Acts and 19 new Ascendancy classes, Grinding Gear Games announced content for the current game. The next major expansion is Conquerors of the Atlas which releases on December 13th. Alongside the expansion is a new Challenge League called Metamorph.

Check them both out below. The story for Conquerors of the Atlas is already intriguing – it sees Zana sealing power-hungry Exiles in the Atlas…only for them to discover a way to escape. Starting with 50 available maps, players will begin at the center of the Atlas and unlock new regions, tiers and maps by defeating the Conquerors. Watchstones can be socketed which change the overall strategy needed.

As for Metamorph League, it sees an alchemist named Tane Octavius tasking you with gathering monster parts. These can then be used to craft your own boss with its own mechanics and rewards. It’s even possible to craft bosses from the parts of Atlas map bosses for some truly dangerous encounters. After releasing on December 13th for PC, Conquerors of the Atlas and Metamorph League arrive for Xbox One and PS4 a week later.
