Atlus has released a new trailer for Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, showcasing the “new” challengers in the game – Labrys and Sho Minazuki. They’re not new playable fighters added in the re-release but rather new characters in addition to the characters from Persona 3 and Persona 4. Check them out below.

Labrys is essentially a robot and utilizes Anti-Shadow weapons to take down her enemies. Sho Minazuki is actually the main antagonist of the game’s story and can also utilize a Persona. While Labrys was playable in Persona 4 Arena (serving as one of its protagonists), Sho Minazuki was a brand new addition to the roster in Ultimax.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is out on PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC on March 17th. Atlus recently confirmed that it would receive rollback netcode this Summer in a free update. Stay tuned for more details on the same in the coming months.
