Following an impressive gameplay demo from Gamescom 2024, S-Game has confirmed that Phantom Blade Zero will receive a new trailer on January 21st, 8 PM PST. It will feature unedited gameplay from a boss fight and celebrate the Year of the Snake.

Alongside showcasing the developer’s “bold innovations”, S-Game will delve deeper into crafting what it considers “the ultimate melee combat experience.” We’ve already seen several boss fights, including Commander Cleave and Tie Sha the Frenzy, along with the different parry and posture systems. It’s also confirmed that players can obtain and use a boss’s weapon.

Phantom Blade Zero is reportedly targeting Fall 2026 for release, though there’s no confirmation from S-Game. It’s in development for PS5 and PC, though it’s not ruling out an Xbox Series X/S version. A demo is in the works, and while slated for last year, the developer said it wasn’t yet ready for the public. Perhaps there will be updates in the next trailer. Stay tuned until then.
