An excellent trailer is nothing new for S-Game’s Phantom Blade Zero, and there’s more next week at its dedicated State of Play. But seemingly under the radar, the developer also confirmed the minimum and recommended requirements for the PC version.

To hit 1080p/30 FPS, you’ll need an Intel Core i7-8700K or an AMD Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB of RAM and a GeForce GTX 1660 6 GB or a Radeon RX 5500 XT 8 GB. The recommended requirements, which deliver 1440p/60 FPS, require the same RAM, but you’ll need a Core i5-10600K or a Ryzen 5 5600X, an RTX 3060 Ti 8GB or a Radeon RX 6700 XT 12GB.

For those keen on ray tracing, albeit at 1080p/60 FPS, an RTX 5060 8 GB is required. However, for Path Tracing, you’ll need an RTX 5080 16 GB, which delivers 2160p/60 FPS.

There is a caveat, though. All of the above requirements are with upscaling enabled. While it’s possible to eke out better performance by changing certain settings, some may take issue with its mandatory nature. Interestingly, installation size wasn’t revealed, though an SSD is required across the board.

Phantom Blade Zero launches on October 29th for PS5 and PC. Its State of Play premieres on August 17th and promises more details on never-before-seen characters and the different builds that players can craft. We may even see its long-awaited demo shadow-drop, so stay tuned.
