Planet of Lana

Joining an ever-growing list of titles delayed to next year is Wishfully’s Planet of Lana. The Thunderful-published puzzle adventure title was originally slated for late 2022 but will now launch in Spring 2023. Along with Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC, it will also be available on day one for Game Pass subscribers on Xbox and PC. Check out the latest trailer below.

In a press release, Wishfully director Adam Stjarnljus said, “We’re sorry that completing development on Planet of Lana will take longer than initially expected, but we promise it will be worth the wait. Planet of Lana has been a passion project for us for a long time, so we want to ensure that when it’s finally available that people are getting it in pristine condition. Plus Game Pass users will get to play it on launch day, which is exciting to us as it means we get to share it with as wide a fanbase as possible!”

Set on a planet facing invasion, the story focuses on Lana and Mui as the two embark on a journey to save the former’s sister. Along with a dazzling 2D art style, it offers puzzle-solving and stealth with the duo working together to bypass obstacles. In addition to massive towering machines, one will also discover different creatures native to the planet and manipulate them to progress.
