If you thought the six new animals Frontier Developments showcased last week were all the new species it’s bringing to Planet Zoo 2, we have some good news.
The studio has just announced that the Snow Leopard will be available in many of your zoos, should you choose to bring one over. The team dropped the news in the best possible way, taking us on a trip to Cologne, where there’s a very fluffy specimen whose habitat is a great showcase of what you need if you want this rather relaxed climber to live the life it deserves at your zoo. Of course, that means you’ll need plenty of verticality in its habitat, along with cubbyholes for naps and to spend well-deserved downtime away from prying eyes.
The Snow Leopard seems like a solitary sort, and you’re probably going to have to work hard to help it integrate into your reservation and perhaps even be conscious about when you try to spot one out in the wild when you’re touring on a research vehicle.
Planet Zoo 2 launches on October 13th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Head here for more details on Wildlife Reserves, their importance and how you’ll maintain them.
