Planet Zoo

Frontier Developments, better known for titles like Elite: Dangerous, Planet Coaster, and Jurassic World Evolution, has announced an interesting new title in the zoo simulation genre. It’s call Planet Zoo and will release for PC this Fall. Check out the first trailer below.

Planet Zoo will have two modes – a campaign that spans the globe, and a Sandbox mode where different habitats can be created. Each animal has its own personality and thought process, from lion cubs to elephants. Knowing how to keep these animals alive and establish a family line is a key goal for the player.

Other features include releasing new animals into the wild, shaping the landscape, utilizing numerous different themes and components to construct the zoo, and so on. Players can also share their different zoo designs online through the Steam Workshop, or design all new content for the game instead. Stay tuned for more information on Planet Zoo in the coming months.
