Things are changing in a big way for PlatinumGames. The studio has always been an active one, being one of the most acclaimed workhorse studios for well over a decade. They are now moving into new directions with self-publishing, as well as wanting to diversify into other genres beside the action one they’ve been a primary presence in. They’ve been in the process of revealing 4 different projects, and the last one will be revealed very soon.

As seen from the update of the ‘Platinum 4’ website, the last announcement will be April 1st. Of course, that raises a lot of red flags, being on April Fools Day and all, so it could be we’re in for a bit of a joke first before the real reveal- so be wary.

Whatever the next reveal is, Platinum have said they hope it will blow people away. There’s been lots of speculation about what it could be, and we’ll let you know what it is as soon as the reveal goes live.
