For the sixth year in a row, Sony Interactive Entertainment won’t be an exhibitor at Gamescom. This is in stark contrast to Microsoft and Nintendo, which have confirmed their participation.
The last time we saw PlayStation at the event was in 2019, so this isn’t too surprising. Of course, there’s still the possibility of an announcement or new trailer at Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 19th, so we’ll need to wait for more details.
Other participating companies include Konami with a hands-on demo of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater and a new trailer for Silent Hill f. Capcom’s Resident Evil Requiem will also be playable for attendees and could receive new details. We can also look forward to a new demo for Crimson Desert (alongside a possible release date) and the worldwide reveal of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.
Gamescom 2025 runs from August 20th to 24th. Stay tuned for more details and updates in the meantime.
