There was once a time when part of the charm of playing a new Pokemon title was scouring its world to discover new, hidden legendary Pokemon. The legendary birds in Kanto, Celebi in Johto, Rayquaza in Hoennn- these are just a few examples of hidden Legendaries in Pokemon games. Recently, though, that hasn’t really been the case. Hopefully, Pokemon 2019 will have at least a few Legendaries that are hidden, and not commoditized in a way that decreases their value. Hide them behind grueling dungeons and puzzles and battles that come as a reward for the player that explores off the beaten trail.
