NON-LINEAR DUNGEONS
The problem of linearity and plainness that has plagued the worlds of Pokemon of late is also something that applies to dungeons on a smaller scale. Where dungeons in earlier Pokemon titles would have long and winding paths with puzzles and secret passages and whatnot, of late, they’ve essentially just been a collection of corridors with nothing to act as an obstacle other than a bunch of trainer battles (which aren’t that challenging either, but that’s another issue entirely). Here’s hoping dungeons in Pokemon 2019 will be actual dungeons once again.
