Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have kicked the marketing for Pokemon Legends: Arceus into gear, with a steady stream of new trailers being released in the lead-up to its imminent launch. Another trailer has now been released- and it’s a particularly interesting one.

The vast majority of the trailer showcases various glimpses of the game’s world, combat, exploration, and more, set to music that series fans will find rather familiar. Interestingly enough, the final few seconds of the trailer (starting at 1:32), the trailer teases new variants specific to Hisui – the game’s setting – for Dartrix, Quilava, and Dewott, the final evolutions of the game’s starting trio- Rowlet, Cyndaquil, and Oshawott.

The trailer shows brief glimpses of ill-defined silhouettes of these three forms, but stops short of actually showing them. If there’s one thing Pokemon fans can’t resist, it’s teases of exciting new evolutions, so it should be interesting to see these new forms in action in the game.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus is launching for Nintendo Switch on January 28. Several Japanese media outlets recently went hands-on with the game and came back with positive impressions- read more on that through here.
