Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is out later this week, and as you might know, Spirits play a huge part in the story and gameplay. While these Spirits must be unlocked through the course of the game, two will be available immediately to those who own Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! These are Partner Pikachu Spirit and Partner Eevee Spirit.

Each Spirit is unique to their version, so if you want both, you’ll need both versions of the Pokemon game. Pikachu and Eevee function as Support Spirits – the former increases your attack and movement speed, while the latter increases attack and defense. If you don’t own either version of Pokemon Let’s Go, then don’t worry. Both Spirits will still be unlockable in-game.

Players will need to complete some challenges in order to access them though. Owning either version of Pokemon Let’s Go simply guarantees access from the start. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is out on December 7th for Nintendo Switch. It will have a day one patch, which allows players to save replays as videos. Stay tuned for full patch notes when the game launches.
