Pragmata Resurfaces with New Trailer, Delayed Out of 2023

Capcom's mysterious sci-fi game, which was first announced back in 2020, has re-emerged, with the development team announcing another delay.

Remember Pragmata? Capcom announced the mysterious sci-fi title back in 2020, sharing little more than a cinematic teaser that didn’t really tell us much about the game. Since then, we’ve neither seen nor heard anything else about the game, and many have feared that the project could end up becoming little more than shovelware. It seems, however, that that is not the case.

Surprisingly enough, Pragmata made an appearance at the recent Capcom Showcase with a brief new trailer. Showcasing in-engine footage, the trailer offers another look at the starring duo of a heavily armoured astronaut and a little girl who seems to have special powers. We don’t get to see much, but the trailer does show the man rescuing the girl, followed by the two of them making their way through a furious firefight against a large group of enemies. Check out the trailer below.

Meanwhile, unsurprisingly, a delay has also been announced for Pragmata. Originally set to launch in 2022, Pragmata was pushed back into 2023, and as confirmed via a message by the developers at the end of the new trailer, has been pushed out of this year as well. No new release window has been announced, but the development team says it’s continuing to work hard on the game and has decided it requires more time.

Pragmata is in development for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
