Project Defiant is Now FlexStrike, New Trailer and Details Revealed

The wireless arcade stick will be displayed at EVO 2025 from August 1st to 3rd, with a release date and price yet to be announced.

Sony has revealed the official name for Project Defiant, its upcoming wireless fight stick: FlexStrike. Launching in 2026 for PS5 and PC, a new trailer is available to outline its various features. Check it out below.

The FlexStrike utilizes a PlayStation Link USB adapter on PS5, which also supports the Pulse Elite headset and Pulse Explore earbuds. You can connect two FlexStrike sticks at once, and even connect the DualSense to the PS5 at the same time. Alongside a touchpad and similar inputs to the DualSense, players can use the lever mode to remap directional inputs or lock them.

It also features a PlayStation button to wake the PS5 if synced to the console. The FlexStrike will be showcased at EVO 2025 at the Fight Stick Museum and Arc System Works booth from August 1st to 3rd, but for display purposes only.
