From what we saw of Sony’s presentation at E3 this year, it looks like they have some great upcoming exclusives for PS4 owners to be excited about. In a recent interview with Weekly Famitsu, Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida answered some questions about what the company has in store for gamers this year.

First of all, Yoshida-san commented on the fact that Japanese games made since last year were being well received all around the world, and this trend has been continuing with the success of games like Monster Hunter: World. He also went on acknowledge the fact that a large number of games will be releasing between the Fall and Winter months, specifically between September and February. Furthermore, existing games are also being updated regularly. It’s clearly a case where you can’t play all of them, he says. Yoshida-san also commented on how releasing good games will lead to a larger playerbase, and he stated that he can feel this growth.

When asked about the state of development of Days Gone, Yoshida-san stated that it’s going well and that the game is now playable from beginning to end. The extra time taken is just to polish up the game.
