All of sudden, December is going to be a pretty important month for the games industry. In the first week itself we have two major events happening. Popular games journalist Geoff Keighley will be hosting his own games award show titled simply as The Game Awards and Sony will be hosting the PlayStation experience where a number of announcements are possible.

A few days ago there were reports that a new JRPG might be announced at the PlayStation experience. The reports were attributed to Tidux, a well know PlayStation insider. However he has clarified his stance stating that his statements were misconstrued. So even if there is a JRPG in development for the PlayStation 4, don’t expect any announcement at the PlayStation Experience.

Next up Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg was asked whether The Game Awards are skewed towards the PlayStation 4. Aaron stated that he believes that all platforms will be represented at the event and Geoff Keighley will do something special for the games industry. In the meantime, Keighley has teased that players should start expecting announcements about the big world premieres at The Game Awards.
