After the recent Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes boot camp press event in Nasu, which had several attendees tweeting about the game’s looks, comparing the PS4 and Xbox One versions, and even about the trademark exclamation points coming back, director Hideo Kojima recently spoke in an interview with Famitsu about how the PS4 was the best home console available on the domestic market today.

In the interview (transcribed by Dualshockers), he stated that, “I think, between the home consoles available in the domestic market, the PS4 is the best.

“It’s also excellent for graphics, being able to render 1080p at 60fps with room to spare. Since it does it a little better than other hardware, the image quality of the PS4 is the most beautiful. It’s the closest to the photo-realistic quality we are aiming at.

Kojima also restated the replayability of Ground Zeroes’ campaign and the multiple approaches one could take to missions. The good news is, the Nasu attendees have confirmed that the game isn’t a two hour romp through the story campaign as previously suspected.

Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes releases on March 18th in North America and March 20th in Europe for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4.
