GODS AND MONSTERS
Toward the end of 2019, following the disappointing sales and critical reception of Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Ubisoft took some drastic measures that most did not see coming, delaying almost every single major title it had announced, including some that were very close to launch. One of these was Gods and Monsters, a Breath of the Wild action-adventure title made by the people behind Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. When these games were delayed, Ubisoft also confirmed that they would launch on next-gen titles as well. That said, Gods and Monsters no longer has a specific release date. We do know that it will be out some time before April 2022, the end of the upcoming fiscal year- whether or not it manages to be out by this Holiday season remains to be seen.
