Microsoft debuted a new trailer for the highly anticipated upcoming platformer Psychonauts 2 at the Xbox Games Showcase, and it’s looking extremely weird, trippy, and outlandish as hell- which means it looks exactly the way fans of Psychonauts would have been hoping. Oh, and the trailer also includes a new song sung by Jack Black (who is voicing a mysterious ball of light in the game), which makes the long months we’ve had to endure between trailers worth the wait. Check it out below.

The trailer itself doesn’t mention a release date for the game (which has already been delayed once from 2019 into 2020), but a new update posted about it on Xbox Wire confirms that Psychonauts 2 has indeed been delayed, with the update confirming that the platformer will launch in 2021. At least we know (or we hope) that all that extra time is being put to use to turn Psychonauts 2 into the game Double Fine always envisioned it to be.

Of course, alongside the delay, it has also been confirmed (to no one’s surprise) that Psychonauts 2 will also be releasing for Xbox Series X. When it does launch, it will also do so on Xbox One, PC, and PS4.
