The long awaited sequel to the cult classic, Psychonauts 2, is slated to still be coming, though we haven’t heard a lot since its announcement and successful crowdfunding campaign. We do know that it suffered a delay at some point early last year. But it’s about to show up again at this year’s E3, where the game will finally get demoed.
As you can see from the official E3 Twitter below, it’s been announced that the game will be at the E3 Coliseum 2019. The game will get a demo there, and with that come some celebrities. Along with the demo will come the game’s original creator Tim Schafer, and the great actor Jack Black. It’s not clear what capacity Black will be there in, whether he has a role in the game or just being there as a fan (Black collaborated on Double Fine for a game before in Brutal Legend).
Psychonauts 2 has been announced for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Hopefully we’ll get a release window along with the demo at E3.
