A new trailer for the upcoming PS3 platformer Puppeteer developed by SCE Japan Studio in which players take control of a hapless boy turned puppet Kutaro on a journey to retrieve his head from the fearsome and utterly Moon Bear Pig. Because that is how Moon Bear Pig rolls. On his journey, Kutaro will have access to a pair of magical scissors, which can accomplish various functions for attacking and advancing.

The various screenshots for the game also indicate the dual analog scheme players will use to control Kutaro.

Kutaro can also use various other puppet heads to replace his own, thus bestowing different properties and abilities. The entire game is also unique with its visual style, which represents a puppet show in motion. Backgrounds change, characters are attached to strings and props look flimsy and constructed.

Puppeteer will be making its way to the PlayStation 3 on September 10th in North America and on September 11th in Europe.
