Quantum Break

Reviews for Remedy Entertainment’s Quantum Break have begun to emerge and it’s receiving a fairly decent reaction. According to Xbox head of marketing Aaron Greenberg, the game is doing fairly well with pre-orders.

On the TXR podcast, Greenberg talked about going old-school with the promotion with representatives meeting fans and media alike in every major country to promote the game. “It’s been great. Preorders are really strong; they’re performing well ahead of plan. Retailers are continuing to increase their orders for the game, which we track and watch.

“Tomorrow [April 1], the reviews hit, so we’ll see how they come in. We’ve been playing the game; we know it’s a great game. Fingers crossed, but I think we’re sitting on a mega hit.”

Greenberg is interested to hear fan feedback on Quantum Break and it should be interesting to see how the game’s action adventure approach mixes with its time traveling mechanics, live-action TV show and variety of choices. Quantum Break is out on April 5th for Xbox One and Windows 10.
