RAGE 2

Among the many new blockbuster releases coming this year, Bethesda’s RAGE 2 has to rank somewhere near the top. Developed jointly by Avalanche Studios and id Software, the sequel to the open world post-apocalyptic shooter has it all – vehicle combat, stylish gun play, and some gorgeous visuals. Check out all of these things in the latest gameplay video from IGN below.

There’s plenty of on-foot gameplay showcasing the Grav Dart Launcher, which allows players to launch foes into and around the environment. Of course, the real highlight of the video is the BFG-9000 from DOOM. You can spot it near the end as its green energy gives off an irradiated glow to the city.

RAGE 2 will be releasing on May 14th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. One of the other cool features is the inclusion of cheat codes, which players can acquire in-game. There’s a cheat code for insta-gibbing enemies, summoning a friendly AI and even having NBA Jam-like callouts for the action.
