RAGE 2: Gyrocopters Can Be Driven, Protagonist From Original Game Teased

Bethesda reveals information regarding driveable vehicles and the protagonist.

Ever since Rage 2 was announced – hell, even before it was announced and had only just been leaked – Bethesda have been surprisingly open about revealing information on the game to the audiences. Once again, the game’s official Twitter page has seen some activity, revealing some interesting new details on the game.

One of the posts put up by the game’s official page talks about the game’s protagonist, who this time around is “Walker”, rather than Nicholas Raine, who was the protagonist in the first game. So what happened to Raine? Well, that’s what’s interesting- the post, amusingly enough, makes it clear that it has no idea what happened to Raine, but it’s pretty clear indication that we’ll be hearing about him at least in some capacity in the game itself.

In another post, it’s been revealed that we’ll be able to drive a large variety of vehicles in Rage 2, “like buggies, monster trucks, and even gyrocopters”. “If you can see it, you can drive it,” says the post. Accompanying the text is a short gameplay clip, and it looks pretty good- have a look below.

Rage 2 was announced only a short while back, and while we already know more about it than we expected to at this point, we’re assuming we’ll receive even more information at Betheasda’s E3 conference in just a week. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for continued coverage on the game.
