RAGE 2

RAGE 2 was only recently officially announced, and since then we’ve been able to learn quite a bit about the game thanks to a new gameplay trailer along with other information shared by the developers. Now, some new information regarding the pre-order bonuses for the game has been revealed. Along with this, we also get to learn what engine the game is being powered by.

Amazon has revealed details about the pre-order bonuses and these will include a exclusive mission, Nicholas Raine armor, a Settlers pistol, and a Monster truck. Since the game is a collaborative effort between id Software and Avalanche Studios, it had been unclear so far what engine the game would be powered by. However, Avalanche Studios’ CEO Christofer Sundberg confirmed on Twitter that the game will be powered by the studio’s own Apex engine, the same engine that was used for Mad Max Just Cause, and more.

RAGE 2 is currently slated to release in 2019 for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
