Familiar operators from Rainbow Six Siege will be coming back in Ubisoft’s upcoming co-op shooter Rainbow Six Extraction, but with the new and alien threat of the Archaeans, they’ll be using their unique abilities and strengths for very different purposes. Up until now, Ubisoft has put the spotlight on a number of operators and their abilities, including the likes of Doc, Finka, Vigil, Lion, and many more, and in a new trailer, it’s Pulse’s time to shine.
Pulse will be quite a nifty character to have in your squad. Equipped with an HB-7 Cardiac Sensor, he can send out a, well, pulse that can pinpoint the locations of Archaean nests, hot zones, and spawn points, and it’s an ability that can work even through walls. With the right upgrades, pulses that you send out will also speed up any and all teammates in your vicinity, so they certainly have some useful applications. Rainbow Six Extraction is due out in January 2022 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia.
