During the recent PlayStation Showcase, Ubisoft released a new trailer for Rainbow Six Extraction, detailing the various conflicts that Team Rainbow has had to deal with throughout history. Of course, nothing could have prepared them for the threat of the Archaeans, an extraterrestrial species that overruns the world. In order to fight back, coordination and teamwork will be key.

This can be seen in the new trailer with Sledge breaking through into a room full of hostiles and Tuchanka laying waste to them with his turret. Extraction offers 18 Operators, each having their own unique abilities and skill-sets (which will be familiar to Rainbow Six Siege players). An Operator can be downed though and when this happens, a rescue operation must be conducted to extract them.

Rainbow Six Extraction is out in January 2022 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC and Google Stadia. Stay tuned for more details and gameplay in the coming months.
