It’s E3 month which means the rumours and anonymous sources are going to fly in like crazy. One such anonymous report comes from Reddit where a user talked about an E3 teaser trailer from Microsoft going live later today and also sifted through the Xbox API to find several upcoming references to games. It should be noted that not everything is concrete and should be taken with a grain of salt.
For instance, Rare seems to be working on a new Battletoads game (one that could be co-developed with another studio) while Sea of Thieves will apparently be in the vein of Destiny and The Division with its gameplay (supporting cross-buy and cross-play). Forza Horizon 3 is set in Australia, General RAAM is heading to Killer Instinct and Halo Wars 2 will be receiving a beta though cross-play hasn’t been mentioned. It was also noted that there was something related to Age of Empires mentioned as well.
There are tons of references to Conker but it doesn’t seem like anything that could suggest an upcoming announcement. Mouse and keyboard support references were found while the upcoming zombie title mentioned may be DayZ. Furthermore, a beta for Crackdown 3 seems close.
