Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart

Insomniac Games may have Spider-Man: Miles Morales in the works as a PS5 launch title, but there’s also a new Ratchet and Clank on the way. Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart sees the iconic duo traveling to a fantasy dimension unlike their own. It’s teeming with nature but there’s plenty of danger to be had as well.

As our heroes escape aboard a strange mount, multiple rifts starting opening up. Soon, Ratchet is back in his element, grinding on a rail in a futuristic city. Then he’s sliding down the size of a skyscraper as various flying cars pass by.

What’s interesting is where Clank ends up. It’s a seemingly dystopian future and when he calls out to his friend, a different Lombax drops in. We don’t know what’s going on but if any of that is real-time gameplay, it’s certainly pushing some boundaries. Check out the reveal trailer of Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart below along with some extended gameplay.
