As noted yesterday, several previews have gone live for Insomniac Game’s Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. New gameplay showcasing the opening, which sees Doctor Nefarious stealing the Dimensionator and the heroic duo in pursuit. Extensive new gameplay of Rivet is also showcased with various new weapons and enemies. Check it out below courtesy of Game Informer.

Some of the new weapons that Rivet wields include a floating mushroom that’s alive and fires upon foes. The Topiary Sprinkler and Shatterbomb are also showcased, functioning much like they did in the State of Play walkthrough. Rivet’s rocket boots are also showcased, allowing for quickly moving around a level. Combined with Rift Tethers, this allows for numerous ways to out-maneuver foes.

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is out on June 11th for PS5. Along with running at 4K/30 FPS, it can also hit 60 FPS at a lower resolution. Stay tuned for more details en route to its release.
