Were you impressed by Keiji Inafune’s ReCore or Rare’s Sea of Thieves and eagerly await any new information Microsoft has to offer? Well you’re going to have to wait a bit longer – Xbox division boss Phil Spencer revealed on Twitter that neither game would be at next month’s Gamescom.

The reasoning was pretty simple as Spencer said “another demo so close to E3 is just tough on production.”

Luckily, there are other games that Microsoft has to fill that space. One such title is Remedy Entertainment’s Quantum Break and Spencer says he’s very happy to have given the developer time to prepare for the show. Hopefully there’s some kind of release date or time period revealed at the conference as well.

We also know that Crackdown and Scalebound will also be present at Gamescom, the latter which promises to be a true AAA game. Gamescom 2015 begins on August 5th and lasts till August 8th.
