CHOICE AND CONSEQUENCE
Having a branching story, of course, means that Red Dead Redemption 2 will have to put at least some emphasis on player choice. A lot of games in today’s day and age attempt to do that, but ultimately end up with nothing more than a mere illusion of choice. It doesn’t really matter just how many instances of branching storylines Red Dead Redemption 2 presents players with. What really matters is that all those choices players make actually have some weight, and actual consequences- if such a feature is indeed included in the game, of course.
