This particular similarity between Red Dead Redemption 1 and 2 is much more incidental than many of the others mentioned here, but the final moments of both Arthur and John with Abigail are eerily similar. Both characters know as they help her get onto her horse and escape that they’re going to their own deaths, and while John’s relationship with Abigail is obviously very different from that of Arthur, both also share an emotional and final farewell with her before they go on to meet their end.
