AGENT ROSS AND JACK
Agent Ross’ role in Red Dead Redemption 2 was much, much less emphasized than it was in the first game. Where in the first game he was a major character and turned out to be one of the primary antagonists, in the second game, he was little more than a bystander (literally). That said, many Red Dead fans have noticed the significance of the scene where Agent Milton and Agent Ross meet Arthur for the first time- it is a moment where he’s teaching Jack how to fish, as both of them stand at the edge of a river. That moment is significant, because it means that Jack’s first meeting with Agent Ross was at the edge of a river, and so too was their final meeting, as Jack ends up shooting and killing the man as he is hunting for ducks at the edge of a river in Red Dead Redemption 1.
