Red Dead Redemption 2 Trailer Offers New Story and Gameplay Details

Meet Arthur Morgan, the Van der Linde gang and the huge world of Red Dead Redemption 2.

As expected, Rockstar Games released a brand new trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 and this one was full of little gameplay snippets. We also get a look at the story this time around, which focuses on Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang as they conduct all manner of robbery and murder.

On the gameplay front though, there’s plenty to see. Dual-wielding revolvers, traveling through marshy swamps (that have alligators teeming through them), conducting a train robbery, using a bow and arrow to hunt in the wild, melee combat and much more can be gleaned from the trailer. Visually, Red Dead Redemption 2 looks excellent with detailed facial textures and animation coupled with great environmental design.

Unfortunately, Rockstar Games didn’t provide a release date beyond “Spring 2018”. The game is available to pre-order for Xbox One and PS4 on Rockstar’s official site though. Also, there’s still no confirmation of a PC release. Stay tuned for more information as it arrives.
