The developer is busy.

Remedy Entertainment released, what I think to be, their best game ever last year with Control. The title was an accumulation of all of their various themes and gameplay fascinations, and it’s just that good. But there’s no rest for the wicked, so to speak, as the company is currently hard at work on at least four different titles.

The developer released their financial statement for the year ending on December 31st where it was revealed they were currently developing several projects. First up is the two Control expansions, the first of which is due out next month. The third project is a second CrossFire one (this seems to be separate from the campaign Remedy co-developed for CrossFire 2 which is seemingly finished). Finally, they have a live service multiplayer-based game codenamed Vanguard. Nothing is stated about the game, just that it’s not expected to release this year and is not being developed on the company’s Northlight engine.

Unfortunately, nothing was said about a new Alan Wake project that’s been teased, though it’s possible that could show up in one of the Control expansions. Either way, Remedy is about as busy as a studio can be right now. We’ll keep you updated as more information comes out about all of their projects.
