There are fewer characters in the Resident Evil franchise more pathetic than Derek Simmons. He destroyed Raccoon City, kidnapped thousands of women, helped create the C-Virus, assassinated the President and so on…just because he was head over heels for Ada Wong and wanted to make his own when she rejected his one-sided advances. Seriously. Upon being infected for the final showdown, Simmons transforms into a four-legged…thing, then gets a turret-like attachment on his back, all while being fought on a moving train. Eventually, he transforms into a giant fly thing that towers over all.
