Capcom’s Resident Evil 3 is out, serving as a remake for the 1999 PS One version. It’s a good game overall but if you were a fan of the classic or expecting something as good as last year’s Resident Evil 2 remake, then there’s a lot that might annoy you. Let’s take a look at 15 things that hardcore fans dislike about Resident Evil 3 (2020).

The Length

resident evil 3

First off, keep in mind that a shorter game isn’t necessarily bad. Last year’s Resident Evil 2 could be completed in eight hours or so if you stuck to the main story. The problem is that Resident Evil 3 is even shorter than the original and cuts a lot of its content and extras. Resident Evil 2’s remake cut quite a bit as well but it had additional game modes and the overall execution felt a lot better than Resident Evil 3’s remake. Also, though it’s reportedly six or so hours long, we’ve seen some players manage to finish it in about 4 to 5 hours.
