Resident Evil 6 on-disc unlockables to be free – Capcom

Capcom's generosity knows no bounds.

Resident Evil 6 may have reviewed poorly but one thing is for sure, the game is loaded with content–four campaigns and a bunch of online modes. When modders found out that, just like other Capcom games, Resident Evil 6 too had on-disc DLC, the internet was outraged.

This is one of the few times I didn’t mind since the vanilla game was just worth the money when you look at the amount of content offered. However, Capcom has now said that these unlockables on the disc, which contain a bunch of costumes and stuff will be available for free.

In case you want to know what type of DLC it is, go have a look at it over here.

“Some data of this update is on the disc, but said data is incomplete and requires the actual download to access. Future paid DLC – like the multiplayer modes we revealed a while ago – is not on the disc. We said as much a month ago, but that point may have been lost in the shuffle,” reads a Capcom Unity post.
