Resident Evil 7 Biohazard

For those interested in playing Resident Evil 7 on the PC, the recommended and minimum specifications are available on its Steam page. Keep in mind that Capcom hasn’t officially announced the same and thus they are subject to change before release.

The minimum requirements include an Intel Core i5-4460, 2.7 GHz or AMD FX-6300, 8 GB RAM, and Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 or AMD Radeon R7 260x. It also adds that players who want to play at 1080p resolution with 30 FPS will have lower textures or disable streaming textures to further optimize their performance.

The recommended requirements include Intel Core i7 3770 3.4 GHz or better, 8 GB RAM, and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 or AMD Radeon R9 280X. This is the configuration that apparently allows for 1080p gaming at 60 FPS.

Resident Evil 7 is out on January 24th 2017 for PC, Xbox One and PS4. It will also release exclusively for PlayStation VR and support 4K and HDR on the PS4 Pro.
