There’s been a deluge of Resident Evil 8 leaks and rumours in recent weeks, and fans are more curious than ever to see what direction Capcom take the game in with its next mainline entry. One leaker who’s been prominently teasing out details from the game is AestheticGamer (or Dusk Golem), and recently on Twitter, they dropped another tease.

Talking about Resident Evil 8, Dusk Golem said that they’re excited for its reveal (which is rumoured to be happen in the near future), following that up by saying that the game is primed to be the darkest and most gruesome entry in the series yet. For a series that prides itself on being incredibly dark and gruesome, that is a very high bard indeed.

In another tweet, Dusk Golem teased that Resident Evil 8 is going to feature “some of the most disturbing enemy designs in the entire series,” which, again, is saying a lot for a Resident Evil game. And if recent leaks detailing various new enemies is to be believed, that might just be true.

Resident Evil 8 has not yet been officially unveiled, but leaks have suggested that it’ll be out in early 2021 as a cross-gen game, with support for PSVR also reportedly planned. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more updates.
