Resident Evil Enhanced Veronica

Rumours have been rife that Capcom will be revealing a new Resident Evil title at E3 2014 but there are also reports it won’t be another new numbered entry in the series. So if you’ve been anxiously awaiting Resident Evil 7, something different is apparently on the way. But what could it be?

According to some forum users at Capcom Unity, there is a section of the Resident Evil website which includes a section called “Enhanced Veronica”. You can check out the screencap of the same above.

The game could either be a sequel or remake of Resident Evil: Code Veronica which originally released in February 2000 for the Dreamcast and eventually made its way to the PlayStation 2. The game focused on continuing the story from Resident Evil 2 from Claire Redfield’s perspective as she struggled to find her brother Chris. It was very well received for its time and it remains to be seen what Capcom will announce.
