During the latest Nintendo Direct, Capcom revealed a new trailer for Resident Evil Requiem and confirmed that it would launch for Nintendo Switch 2 alongside other platforms next year. Of course, the trailer also teased plenty of new story snippets. Check it out below.

From teasing some new enemies to effectively teasing that Umbrella Corp would return (or that protagonist Grace Ashcroft would discover their symbol), there’s a lot to unpack. That’s not even getting into the mysterious figure with the ruined teeth and eye apparatus who appears briefly at the end. Perhaps they’re the individual sitting in the chair by the fireplace, or the one who operated on Grace.

Resident Evil Requiem launches on February 27th, 2026, and is also launching on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Check out even more new details from previews during Gamescom here. The survival horror title is also slated to appear at Tokyo Game Show from September 25th to 28th, so stay tuned for more details.
