"Early 2015" may in fact be that early for Capcom's survival horror title.

Resident Evil Revelations 2

Capcom only recently revealed Resident Evil: Revelations 2, the follow-up to one of the best games of the franchise produced in a while, but it seems that its “early 2015” release may indeed be early. According to the PlayStation Store (via Destructoid), the game will be releasing on February 17th 2015.

Remember, this isn’t a confirmed release date from Capcom so take this listing with a grain of salt. It’s not exactly far-fetched that the game would release some six months after its announcement though – Capcom has revealed that Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will be an episodic game. The first four episodes release in the first month of launch, one per week, and there are benefits for those who purchase them together as either a digital download or retail release.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will be out on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC. What are your thoughts on playing it this February? Let us know in the comments.
