Resident Evil Re:Verse Open Beta Starts April 7th

PS4, Xbox One, and PC players can test the multiplayer title early.

An open beta test for Resident Evil Re:Verse, Capcom’s new multiplayer game, will start on April 7th at 11 PM PT. It will be available till April 10th, 11 PM PT for Xbox One, PS4 and PC though interested players can start downloading it on April 5th at 5 PM PT. You’ll need to link your Capcom ID to the platform in question.

Resident Evil Re:Verse is bundled free with Resident Evil Village and provides a free-for-all deathmatch experience. Unlike Resident Evil Resistance, it will feature characters like Leon, Claire, Chris, Ada, Jill and Hunk battling in iconic locations. Bioweapons like Nemesis, Jack Baker and Hunter Gamma are also available with players seemingly using pickups to transform into them.

The content for the current beta has yet to be revealed so stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks. Resident Evil Village is slated to release on May 7th for PS4, Xbox One, PC, Xbox Series X/S and PS5. A recent PlayStation Japan stream provided some new details – check them out here.
