If you haven’t had your fill of Resident Evil for the year what with the HD Remaster of the original and Resident Evil Revelations 2 out in February, then you’ll be happy to hear that Resident Evil: The Final Chapter will begin filming in August.
Well, you might not be happy especially considering the quality of the entire film franchise, but at least it’s a fair warning.
Resident Evil: The Final Chapter was initially delayed due to star Milla Jovovich’s pregnancy. Posting on Facebook, Jovovich said that she is “really proud of myself for not gaining the same amount of weight that I did with our first child (75 lbs.) because I have to be ready to start filming Resident Evil: The Final Chapter in August of this year.”
The film is directed by Paul W.S. Anderson to whom Jovovich is married. This will be the last film from Anderson but will it go out with a bang? We’ll find out in the coming year.
