Resident Evil

What’s better than returning to Raccoon City? A million things, actually, especially since it’s teeming with ruins and the undead in Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. Protagonist Alice makes it look like a walk in the park though as she returns to the site of the catastrophe for one more battle.

In a new teaser trailer for the upcoming film (set to Paradise City by Guns & Roses), Alice will return to presumably beat Wesker once and for all. Oh, and to also head back into the hive at the insistence of the Red Queen, the AI program from the first film. Why? Who cares, there are tons of zombies to kill and a new BOW for Alice to go one-on-one with.

No, we’re not saying any of this makes for a great Resident Evil film. The entire franchise has actually been a prime example on how NOT to make films based on video games. But hey, for a random action film, it’s fine.

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is out in January 2017.
